The Perfect Leather Jacket

If there's one item of clothing that is the epitome of cool and can make any outfit look instantly badass, it's the leather jacket.  Take your favorite pair of worn-in blue jeans and a t-shirt, add a fabulous leather jacket and you have a perfectly put together look. Musicians, movie stars and other celebrities have been donning leather jackets for decades. Think Sandy-post makeover in Grease or Michael Jackson's infamous red leather jacket from the Beat It video.  Regardless of body type or gender, the leather jacket makes any wearer that much cooler.

If there's ever a single item worth investing in because it will forever be in style, it's the leather jacket.  Believe me, I'm writing this to justify the purchase of my own as much as being your voice of encouragement to purchase one yourself!  The leather jacket debuted in the first world war to protect fighter pilots.  The motorcycle style was first introduced by Harley Davidson in the 1920s and sold for less than $6! Over the decades, every generation has embraced and made the leather jacket its own.  The legacy of the leather jacket isn't slowing down anytime soon.  

I've been on the search for my perfect leather jacket for quite some time.  It's one of the items I always see looking amazing on others, but I could never find the right one for myself.  I finally made the leap with this All Saints Balfern Leather Biker Jacket.  This jacket is quite literally the most expensive item I've ever bought that isn't shoes.  Given the justifications listed above and how instantly amazing I felt the moment I put it on, I had to have it.  The style is eternally classic and it fits as if it were made for me.
